Better than compost tea, liquid compost is a super nutrient-dense concentrate of the most beneficial elements of our high-grade compost. Containing both minerals and and an abundance of naturally-occurring live elements, liquid compost is the closest thing to compost in a liquid form. Rely on our liquid compost to:

» Jumpstart and revive your lawn and beds. For compacted or nutrient-depleted soils, we've made liquid compost part of our 3-step 'Jumpstart' application — core aeration, dry organic fertilizer application, finished off with a drenching of liquid compost extract.
» Feed your trees, organically. Liquid Compost is great for foliar feeding, as well as for deep root injections. We can do both.

The Perfect Storm for Spring Weeds
2008 was the without a doubt the worst weed year Soils Alive has experienced. It all started with a very dry winter, which lead to little to no germination of our usual crop of weeds that starts early and ends early. Normal condition for North Texas brings us good rains in the late fall and early winter which will germinate most winter weeds from September to December.
